Restaurant complex in Belaya Tserkov automated using UNISYSTEM Restaurant

The UNISYSTEM Restaurant software package was used in automating a new restaurant complex named Biryuza, which has opened in the city of Belaya Tserkov in the Kyiv Region.
This summer the Biryuza restaurant complex, situated in one of the most picturesque areas of Belaya Tserkov, on the bank of the Ros River next to the Alexandria Park, entertained its first guests. The owners of the new establishment approached their start-up and business processes seriously, implementing an integrated automation system at the restaurant.
“After studying the special features of this facility, we developed a project that would satisfy all of our customer’s needs. Spread out over a fairly large area, Biryuza has indoor dining rooms, as well as outdoor terraces and comfy pavilions. The restaurant’s various units are spatially separated. So we had to think about the best way to implement the local network, connecting the receipt printer in the dining hall, the order printer in the Grill unit, and the bookkeeper’s computer,” says Igor Skripnik, head of Unisystem’s Distribution and Integrated Systems Department. “The UNISYSTEM Restaurant package was used as the front- and back-office software. It allows inventory and financial record-keeping to be maintained separately for each unit, as well as for the business as a whole. All the information is stored in a single database, which is very convenient for management: comprehensive information on the establishment, or any particular report, can be obtained at any time.”
It should be added that, as usual, the final stage of the start-up was training of the staff. With the system’s accessible and simple interface, the bookkeeper and waitstaff were able to master it fairly quickly and gain the skills they need for using the system in their daily work.
In the near future the restaurant will open a banquet hall. Plans are that, over time, Biryuza will be transformed into a hotel and restaurant complex, which also will have a single, integrated system of automation.
